Someone at my office said that and then said "a plane hit the World Trade Center". I assumed some sightseeing plane flew too close and clipped the building. As I soon found out, that was wrong.
I got a call from London; my boss told me the world would different from that point on. Was he ever right! I lost a dozen colleagues in the Twin Towers; two a few years later at Kings Cross.
