Obviously my views are biased but getting rid of Hudak is a bad idea from a PC standpoint.
Yes, Hudak isn't Premier but he did raise the PC seat count by a very significant amount.
More, his didn't run such a bad campaign. It wasn't great; it never caught fire but it was competent.
And that's the key.
Almost no one in Canada wins the first time around coming from opposition (it does happen but not often). There is a learning curve. A new PC leader will (unless they pick Tory or Harris again) have to learn how to run all over again. That means an experienced Liberal team, running as the government, will be up against a newbie.
Now I think about it, maybe I do want the PCs to dump Hudak... .

There is nothing wrong with not succeeding on your first try. However, Hudak will need to overcome cultural differences in Toronto if he wishes to continue as leader, and run in the next election. He also needs a grand vision that the Conservatives can present to Ontarians.
Mcguinty was kept. So, point made.
The federal Liberals need to learn from that.
McGuinty looked inexperienced and lost when he lost to Mike Harris. Remember "Promises made promises kept".
Four years later he was Premier.
Hudak was given a gift by McGuinty. The 10,000 dollar tax credit was a huge miscalculation by the Premier.
Hudak over reacted with the "foreigners" comment. All it got him was a few more un needed votes in rural Ontario.
All he had to say was the Ontario's Premier needs to bring people together, help EVERY unemployed Ontarian, and not pit them against one another.
Hudak will bounce back. He did better then Tory, and will be our next Premier.
My MPP was Environment Minister and lost becuse of he Wind turbines (mostly false data)
Hudak should ask like a conservative and not a liberal-lite.
