Everywhere I go there is a sense of quiet resolve. We Liberals have experienced the allure of the quick fix and seen how it always fails. Our return will not be based on a haphazard alliance with some other Party or on a Leader who can magically summons voters. Our return will be based on steady, on-going work in each Riding. We have to be proud to be Liberals and recognize we all have to work together. Anne Lindthorst said "A crisis is only a turning point", and we know that to be true. We have gone through a crisis and a turning point; we are rebuilding from the ground up and not the top down.
In the coming Party elections I am glad that there are no slates, no one is pulling strings to get people to run, no one telling people not to run. I have had the opportunity to talk with all of the excellent candidates who have put their names forward to serve on the Liberal Party Executive. I look forward to working with whichever of these proud Liberals are elected in January. I applaud their willingness to work hard and to work smart to bring our party back to its proper place in Canadian politics.

You're just a Marxist
“During a 33-year period from 1975 to 2008, some 508 criminals who, after extensive psychological testing and interviewing were judged no danger to public safety by the National Parole Board, were released from prison and in that period killed 557 perfectly innocent Canadians.”
Morton, are you proud of the above?
557 souls killed by a justice system you think is great.
He is a cultural Marxist to boot.
He is doing everything he can do dumb down the population and to keep his friends in power.
Marxism and socialism is all about power and keeping it.
Morton has a sickness. He really believes everybody should be politically correct and that everybody should think the same.
Every aspect of my life is controlled by people that think like Morton.
Revolution is the only option.
Anon, if you think I think the justice system is great, well, you aren't reading this blog. Anyway, the numbers you cite are deeply troubling. Below I give the link to the source data. The numbers suggest for violent crime more LTO and DO designations are approriate. But ... that is exactly consistent with my position. Anyway here's the link:

This seems strange as everyone thinks you are running on a slate with Zach Paikin.
This is very troublesome.
