My guess is the NDP will back the budget, at least to the extent of having a couple of members stay out of the voting -- but it will be close and we may be campaigning again in April for a May election... .

"PC Leader Tim Hudak said Tuesday there will be no support for the budget from his caucus.
"All my members will be there to vote against it," he said Tuesday. "There's no credible plan to reduce the size and cost of government. This does not address the jobs crisis and does not address the debt crisis."
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath said the budget fails "on key fronts," but would not commit to using her party's votes to defeat it.
"This budget leaves us with a serious decision to make," she said. "I'm going to keep our options open.""

I would hope a few of Hudak's MP's would stay home. This is the first realistic budget ever from McGuinty.
McGuinty is making the kinds of cuts that Hudak and his cadre are always calling for. I guess they just won't take yes for an answer.
But then again, Auditor General Jim McCarter recently reviewed McGuinty’s renewable energy initiatives and pronounced them financial disasters. McGuinty is forced into this because of these wind-solar boondoggles.
Then he bans the products the lawn care industry uses, products PMRA deems safe, decimating small lawncare operators. For some strange reason Golf courses who are the biggest users got exempt. So much for the "safety argument"
Oh well. Life with a government that makes no sense.
