Capitalism is based on an individual ability to act in commerce with as little interference from government as possible. The Constitution describes the rights of the sovereign citizen, the “Several States, and the limits of the Federal Government.

The Constitution also guarantees a Republican form of government and to each state. (Don’t confuse Republican as used to describe the form of government with the political party). In a Republic each citizen has equal sovereignty of the country as his neighbor. Theoretically each citizen should be able to do whatever he pleases as long as it doesn’t interfere, impede or infringe on his fellow citizen’s rights.

The only economical form that accepts that concept is Capitalism, free men engaging in free trade. Socialism, Communism, Progressivism, Monarchy or Dictatorships can’t tollerate citizens having that kind of freedom.
