Used properly, nonsense cannot survive the web.

The internet has changed fact-checking in an amazing way. Used properly, nonsense cannot survive the web.

I was reading a text and the author made a claim about something unlikely in a Papal Letter from the Eighteenth Century. It didn't sound correct.

Thirty years ago I would have thought 'huh, interesting'.

Today I flipped over to the Vatican and read the Letter (a good English translation with the Latin side by side).

The Papal Letter said nothing close to what the author said. The topic was the same but what the Pope said was quite different.

The truth is out there!!!
