Stuff I don't know (and stuff I do)

Lots of stuff happens at my office that I don't know about. And in theory at least I am one of the bosses.

So I suppose the Prime Minister might not know about everything that happens at the PMO.

But even I know about important crisis things at work. And Senator Duffy's problems certainly count as a crisis.

What's more it seems that a fair number of senior people at the PMO were in the loop.

Nigel Wright's lawyers told the RCMP that Senator Irving Gerstein, who controls Conservative Party finances, David van Hemmen, Wright's executive assistant, Chris Woodcock, director of issues management in the PMO and Benjamin Perron, a lawyer who used to work in the PMO, were all aware of the deal paying off Senator Duffy's expenses.

Seems surprising they would all know and not pass that information (or at the least an indication "it's being dealt with and you don't want to know") to the Prime Minister.

Any word yet on the identity of the lawyer who represented Duffy in the Wright payment?
