Versailles Convention Centre Inc. (2074874 Ontario Inc.) v. William Ross Gilmour (Gilmour Barristers), 2013 ONCA 674 is another example of when a lawyer's account will be assessed even after the permissible time to assess has passed. As a practical matter it's seldom worth opposing an application for an assessment.
