The Honorable Mario C. DiSalle
(August 30, 1935 – January 28, 2014)
Passed away suddenly at his residence Tuesday, January 28, 2014
Beloved husband of Mary DiSalle and the late Joan DiSalle. Devoted father to Michael DiSalle (wife Carol) and Lisa DiSalle; step-father to Kevin Woodside (wife Heather) and Darren Woodside (wife Sandy). Loving Nonno to his treasured grandchildren Katelynn, Hayley, Aiden, Emma, Owen, Connor and Ryan. He will forever be remembered by his sister Flavia Tomassini (husband Tarcisio predeceased), brother Con DiSalle (wife Elizabeth), sister Betty Zanchetta (husband Giovanni) and sister Viola Marcolin predeceased (husband Romano). Sadly missed by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Mario was born in Copper Cliff to parents Donato and Amalia DiSalle (both predeceased).
Mario graduated from the University of Ottawa Law School in 1961 and he was called to the Bar in 1963. He had a distinguished law practice which was recognized when he was appointed a Federal Judge in 1982, retiring in 1999.
