Michael Ignatieff has surpassed most pundits' expectations and tomorrow's policy announcement will generate good press. (Of course Harper helped by stumbling).
But... there's a long road ahead and most people aren't following the election closely yet. During canvassing many ask if the election is federal, provincial or municipal.
We need more than a good week -- we need a good month! Much work ahead and many miles to go before we sleep!

Hey Morton, good luck with your own race, but I don't see how it was a good week. Haper has gone up in the polls and it seems that no matter how evil and corrupt Harper is, he teflon. I can't explain it, the only thing that I can compare it to is the reelection of Nixon in 72 after the Watergate break-in had already happened he still got over 60% of the vote. I have no idea why people don't see it but it looks pretty clear that they are headed for a majority.
Major issues would have to emerge for the Liberals to be able to say that they had a good month. Unfortunately the Liberal team doesn't seem to understand that they are fighting real evil and that it will do them no good to just tell us that Ignatieff is a good guy.
