Thornhill AGM

Tonight the Thornhill Federal Liberal Riding AGM was held -- a large number of Liberal members from Thornhill attended. A new Executive was elected and Susan Kadis, our former M.P. spoke. There was a real sense of excitement in the room -- and even though the AGM was totally neutral as to Leadership, the events of the last couple of weeks were clearly on everyone's mind. As Riding President I also spoke and, among other things, asked for a round of applause for the old Leader, and a warm round was given. In the picture we see Susan Kadis, standing, facing the membership.

She lost, you lost, get over it!

Yup, and the Kentster might even finish moving to Thornhill before the next election!

Kent won't do anything for Thornhill. I'm more saddened our riding went blue altogether, we're urban for goodness sake!

It was Susan who initiated the subway talk for the yonge street extension, not Kent.

Hopefully, this 'blue experiment' will come to an end

Shawn, Agreed -- Kent won because of reasons outside the Riding -- no question Susan had the support for herself but this time the national campaign kyboshed the local

Kent will win by at least 10,000 votes next time. Richmond Hill will go blue as well.
