Tuesday's budget

This will be one of the most important budgets in a generation and perhaps since the Second World War. With a global financial crisis threatening to swamp the Canadian economy -- and a political crisis threatening to swamp his government -- Flaherty's budget must be the bulwark against both those events. One can only hope it is better than his financial update of late last year!
