So I call my Toyota dealer's service department

I ask about the sticky gas pedals recall and when I can bring my car in. The service person tells me, unless the gas feels sticky, not to worry.

Uh huh.

Toyota closes plants across North America but no fears...

Maybe I'll go to my own mechanic.

They want to be pro-active.
In the mean time, to be safe, spray WD-40 on all pedal and throttle mechanisms.
