I'm satisfied

Helen Thomas issued the following statement today:

"I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians. They do not reflect my heart-felt belief that peace will come to the Middle East only when all parties recognize the need for mutual respect and tolerance. May that day come soon."

I'm satisfied. Who among us hasn't innocently stumbled into a statement of support for ethnic cleansing when we didn't really mean it? I mean, really!!!

I'm sure you know what ethnic cleansing is and I'm sure you know she never called for the forced removal of jews from Palestine. I'm also sure you initially failed to grasp the irrationality of your post because, on this issue, you are blindly bias.

Excuse me? I've never, ever stumbled and made an error stating ethnic cleansing.

Are you in never, never land?

What I saw and heard from her was hate, plain and simple. It was not a rushed answer. Sub the word Muslim in there and it would be on every page of every newspaper in the US, but, hey, its just a Jew.
And I did get the sarcasm of the post. Nice.

This was not a call for ethnic cleansing, it was a call to end the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

Why just the other day I said "We need to kill all those pig-dog Jews" but that was just a mis-statement of what's really in my heart.

Sorry Scott, but when someone with as much clout in the press as Helen Thomas calls for Jews to leave Israel, go back to Germany and Poland, it isn't too hard to see that serious Judenhass infects the leftist media.

So Rat, as I am clearly not on the same level as you, could you dumb it down a bit and explain to me how your comment relates to mine?

Ok Scott, I'll try to keep it mono-syllabic (oops, sorry - I will try to use s-m-a-l-l words):

You are biased, too. The lack of force in Thomas' statement is irrelevant to the fact that she wants "Palestine" for the Arabs. Jews should go back to Germany and Poland and live side by side with the people who, barely more than 60 years ago, DID ethnically cleanse and DID commit genocide against them? You appear to think what she said is OK, or at least not that bad. Sorry to use the big words when I said I wouldn't but it just disgusts me that you would raise fingers to keyboard to defend a Jew-hating harpy like Helen Thomas when the evidence is right in front of your face. Frankly, it's people like you and Helen who should consider moving to Germany, you'd fit right in with a lot of the older volk. I hope that has answered your question.

(And James, we still have the cookies if you ever get tired of a tent so big as to accept people like him)

James you're supposed to know better. This crap, from you, is a disappointment.
