Prison farms

I don't often agree with Joe Warmington but he is dead on in today's Sun when he says closing prison farms was dumb. Most convicts go to prison and learn how to be better criminals -- but the prison farms turned out reformed inmates. And saved money by producing food. Closing them down was a very false economy.
