Civil? Like, Have you stopped beating your wife is civil? Its not civil to make atrocious inferences, its dishonest. It may APPEAR to be civil, but it is certainly not civil to lie with a straight face.
Yes. This was the whole problem with the "hope" nonsense. Tough times lay ahead for the US but that didn't stop the Dems from making Obama out to be a messiah. They didn't need to pile it on that thick.
Yes, a smaller more caring government . . . eliminating the education department, ending social security, repealing health insurance reform (allowing the reinstatement of bans on pre-existing conditions) banning abortion even in cases of rape and incests, plunging the country even further into debt with another 4 Billion in tax cuts over the next 10 years that economists unilaterally reject (not that the Democratic touted 3 Billion in tax cuts is much healthier).
Is that what smaller, more caring government looks like?
Note all of the above examples I've used have been uniformly spouted by every "tea party" Republican who has won their respective primaries, including the unemployed career politician and Sarah Palin clone from Deleware.
No pretty pictures or stirring images changes those facts.

yeah.. It was still all Bush's fault.
Maybe another bus load of union protesters would solve this.
