Child-killer Clifford Olson denied parole

Hardly a surprise:

ANNE-DES-PLAINES, Que. — For the second time in less than five years, serial killer Clifford Olson has been denied parole.

Olson, one of Canada's most notorious killers, is serving 11 consecutive life sentences for the murders of 11 children in British Columbia in the early 1980s.

Parole board members Denis Couillard and Pierre Cadieux took less than five minutes to deliberate on their decision to keep Olson behind bars. The decision came after a hearing at a penitentiary in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, near Montreal
