Have you noticed how timing of actions seems to vary depending on the expected public reaction? Friday afternoon?

Who cares leaves him there forever.
No surprise they would do that...if they were in oppostion they'd be crying foul.
But the Cons/Reformatories are good at deflecting attention from themselves...I think it's time the Libs put the Cons in their place and explained the reality.
Enough of their BS!!
Don't be too fast at pointing fingers, Liberals did the same... and provincial counterparts do...
I want to see the government take some action on Khadr but also hope they win in the appellate courts. I'm not comfortable with some of the positive rights jurisprudence that has emerged from the courts in recent year--particularly the Health Services case regarding collective bargaining, and this latest decision of the federal court.
I'd like to see "rights" interpreted as they should be--as negative injunctions against state action except where specifically provided for otherwise.
Then again thats just my small l liberal view.
Our Charter is now officially null and void. And now I want a June election.
